Eyelash Adhesive FAQs

How should I store my eyelash adhesive?

You can safely store unopened adhesive in a refrigerator; however, it should be brought down to room temperature before use. Once opened, please store the adhesive in a Glue Storage Container to keep it in a cool, dark place.

How long will my eyelash adhesive last?

We recommend replacing your adhesive every 4-5 weeks once it has been opened. This helps ensure optimal performance and the best possible results for your lash extensions.

What should I do if my eyelash adhesive nozzle is blocked?

If you experience issues with the Eyelash Extension Adhesive Nozzle, please replace it with one of the two extra nozzles that are included with each bottle.

To prevent the adhesive nozzle from getting blocked, we suggest using the pin provided while shaking the bottle. It's also important to store the adhesive upright and avoid shaking it upside down. Be sure to burp the adhesive and use our RK Adhesive Nozzle Wipes to clean the nozzle after each use to maintain optimal performance.

Are your eyelash glue latex free?

All our adhesives are latex-free to ensure safe and comfortable application.

Where are your adhesive made from?

All our adhesives and liquid-based products are manufactured in South Korea, a country known for producing high-quality eyelash extension adhesives. We use only the best ingredients and materials to create our products, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

When should I shake my eyelash glue?

It is recommended to shake your lash adhesive for two minutes before dispensing a drop. Ideally, this should be done when you open a new bottle, or before using it throughout the day. Avoid shaking the adhesive with the cap on; instead, remove the cap and insert a pin into the nozzle or cover it with foil. It’s also recommended to use an electric eyelash glue shaker to assist the process.

How do I clean the nozzle of my lash extension glue?

To keep your lash glue nozzle clean, it’s recommended to use lint-free pads every time you dispense adhesive. And since eyelash extension adhesive can be messy,  keeping the area clean from any residue is important. Using our RK Adhesive Nozzle Wipes is a great way to keep your workspace clean by preventing drips and spills.

How often should I change my adhesive drop?

It's important to change your adhesive drop every 15-20 minutes during your lashing session to ensure it stays fresh and doesn't become too thick or stringy. Keep a close eye on the drop and watch for any signs of it developing a “skin” or becoming stringy when you dip a lash. When you notice these red flags, it's time to dispose of the old drop and move on to a new one for the best lash extension results.

How to remove eyelash glue from tweezers?

Using our Tweezers Cleaning Tool with Liquid Remover and Sponge Ball is a simple and effective method to clean your tweezers after using lash glue. This will help prevent any glue build-up on your tweezers, which can affect their grip and accuracy. It’s a good practice to clean your tweezers after every use to keep them in top condition.

How to remove eyelash glue from a lash pallet or jade stone?

To clean your jade stone after use, apply acetone (nail polish remover) onto a cotton pad and wipe away any residual adhesive. If there is a large amount of adhesive, you can apply adhesive remover and let it soak for a bit before wiping it off with a cotton pad. Alternatively, you can use an Aluminium Glue sticker on the surface of your jade stone for an even easier clean-up.

Is your eyelash adhesive vegan-free?

Lashes by RK takes pride in offering a range of lash glues that are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. We do not test any of our adhesives on animals, and none of the ingredients used in our products come from animal sources. We believe in providing ethical and sustainable, high-quality lash products without compromising performance. Our commitment to animal welfare is one of our brand’s core values.

How long does eyelash adhesive take to dry on the lash extension?

The drying time of eyelash extensions glue can vary depending on factors such as the amount of cyanoacrylate in the glue, room temperature, humidity levels, and any pre-treatment. Typically, the glue can take half a second to 5 seconds to dry. Most lash brands offer at least two types of glue to suit different skill levels – a slower glue for beginners and a faster glue for more experienced technicians. It’s also important to note that higher temperatures and humidity levels in the workspace can significantly affect the behaviour of the glue.

How long does eyelash adhesive take to dry on the jade stone or lash pallet?

To ensure optimal results and avoid retention issues, it’s recommended to replace your glue drop every 15-20 minutes. Over time, the glue can react to the air and become stringy, affecting its effectiveness. By changing your glue drop regularly, you can help maintain the quality of your work and improve the overall retention of your eyelash extensions.
